Where does Union Pacific stand regarding the COVID-19 vaccine?
As a federal contractor, Union Pacific is obligated to comply with the executive order requiring masks and Covid-19 vaccines for its workforce. Currently, the vaccine mandate has been stayed by a federal court order. Union Pacific continues to monitor the court proceedings and will respond as required. In the interim, Union Pacific employees are not subject to the requirements of the vaccine mandate; however, all employees are strongly encouraged to be vaccinated and up to date on their Covid-19 vaccines and boosters.
