On Campus Recruiting
We schedule our hiring events at college campuses from September through the beginning of November - and again in the spring. These events are great opportunities for you to visit with recruiters and to ask specific questions about our company. Be sure to visit your career center's website for a list of your events on campus.
Union Pacific is proud to present our job opportunities nationally on a variety of platforms such as Handshake, Symplicity and LinkedIn. We partner with a number of target schools, including an HBCU, an HSI, and an AANAPISI, by providing funding to a variety of career centers, student organizations, and provide other developmental opportunities.
For example, in the 2021-2022 school year, Union Pacific provided funding to Jackson State University (HBCU) to support their career services center in providing career placement opportunities, their College of Business for curriculum and student professional development, including supporting their Case Competition, and the JSU CAPS program.

If Union Pacific does not visit your college campus, you may apply online for one of our posted positions. This process takes about 15 minutes and allows you to submit your resume with the online application. After you're finished, you will be able to check your application status online.
